We bring the conditions of HBOR microcredit for hosts in family accommodation

first_imgFinally, the details about the long-announced and long-awaited, favorable HBOR loans for hosts in family accommodation are known. Landlords may not apply for a decision on harmonization of standards and continue to provide catering services, but then lose the right to display the label for the category (stars) on the facility where they provide catering services and promotional materials, the Ministry of Tourism concludes. – four years from the entry into force of this Act, if the decision on approval was obtained after 31 December 2004. Law on Amendments to the Law on Catering Activity The lowest loan amount will be HRK 20.000, and the highest HRK 375.000 with an interest rate of 2,70% for loans in HRK and 2,00% interest for loans in euros, all with a repayment period of 10 years with a grace period of one year. In the procedure of issuing the said decision, it is not determined that the tenant is the owner of the facility in which he provides services or that he is the owner of the land for camping, nor the condition of usability of the facility, but only whether the facility in which the services will be provided meets the minimum requirements. category. – three years from the entry into force of this Act, if they obtained the decision on approval in the period from 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2004. Also, this measure is provided with the aim of helping renters who want to go through the new recategorization process, if they still want to keep the label for the category (stars), which is an obligation under the new Law on Amendments to the Law on Hospitality. Otherwise, landlords who obtained a solution after September 1, 2007 have no obligation to harmonize the standards of facilities (recategorization). But let’s go in order.  – two years from the entry into force of this Act, if they have obtained a decision on approval by 31 December 2000. Optimal deadlines are provided for harmonization, which allow sufficient time for adjustment and finding the best solution for improving the quality of accommodation units in households: Namely, after the entry into force (November 17, 2018) of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Hospitality for the process of harmonization with the current Ordinance on classification and categorization of facilities, the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with HBOR provided renters with favorable financial instruments for increasing the quality and additional offer of facilities in the household.  According to the Ministry of Tourism, one credit line will be available to natural persons – renters who have a decision on approval for the provision of catering services in the household related to accommodation in a room, apartment, holiday home, camp or camping resort.  Finally, it is important to point out that landlords who obtained a solution after September 1, 2007 have no obligation to harmonize the standards of facilities (recategorization). The decision on harmonization of standards is issued by the competent office (state administration office in the county or administrative body responsible for catering) according to the location of the facility, at the request of the landlord, while inspection of compliance with the provisions related to harmonization of standards will be carried out by the tourist inspection.  Landlords who on the day of entry into force of the Act on Amendments to the Act on Hospitality (November 17, 2018) provide catering services in the household on the basis of a decision on approval issued before September 1, 2007 or on the basis of a decision issued before the application submitted before 1 September 2007, in order to continue providing catering services with the right to display the category (star) mark on the facility where they provide catering services, they must submit a proper application for a decision on approval for the provision of catering services in the household in accordance with the Act and the Ordinance on classification and categorization of facilities in which catering services are provided in the household (Official Gazette 9/16, 54/16, 61/16 and 69/17). The new Ordinance on the classification and categorization of facilities in which catering services are provided in the household has not yet been adopted, because before that it was necessary to adopt amendments to the Law on Catering Activity, and it is expected soon. Attachment: The goal of more favorable loans through HBOR is to support family accommodation to develop better and better through the harmonization of standards, increasing the quality and additional offer of facilities in the household.last_img read more

EU Shipowners Call for Decisive Actions against Unfair Trade Practices

first_imgEuropean shipowners and maritime technology industry have called for decisive actions against unfair trade practices and in favour of global playing field.Namely, trade associations representing European shipbuilding and maritime equipment and European shipowners, SEA Europe and ECSA, have called upon the European Commission and the EU Member States to take concrete and decisive actions against such practices and in favour of a true global level playing field for the European industry.“Market-oriented conditions, rules-based trade, and open markets are essential to allow European shipping, shipbuilding and marine equipment companies to operate internationally,” ECSA said.EU Trade Commission Cecilia Malmström, who recently spoke against unfair trade practices in the Far East, stressed that the European Commission “will do what is necessary to shield European shipowners, European shipyards and European maritime equipment manufacturers from the negative impact from competitive distortions resulting from massive subsidies from China and South Korea.”The Commissioner also underlined that the European Commission is paying close attention to South Korea’s recent support measures in favour of its local shipyards, which “could also be significant”.“The latest support measures from South Korea are clearly an example of unfair competitive distortions,” SEA Europe Secretary General Christophe Tytgat said.As explained, the country has contributed to severe overcapacity in merchant shipbuilding and merchant shipping, with consequences for all market players, first for European shipbuilding and also for European shipowners and the entire maritime value chain.“Europe now needs to be vigilant that the same unfair trade practices with the same potential devastating effects are not repeated in other shipbuilding and shipping segments,” Tytgat added.“At a time that protectionist trends are rising, we ask Europe to send a strong message in support of free, fair and rules-based trade,” ECSA Secretary General Martin Dorsman said.last_img read more

Kawhi Leonard says Clippers’ growing pains are part of the process

first_img For Lakers’ LeBron James, Jacob Blake’s shooting is bigger issue than a big Game 4 victory Good news, bad news – all of it’s part of the process. So says Kawhi Leonard, a two-time NBA champion who, regardless of the outcome, has preached perspective since embarking on his first season with the Clippers almost a month ago.Said Leonard, following Monday’s 98-88 victory over the Toronto Raptors at Staples Center: “It’s gonna take success, mistakes, arguments and losing games and winning games to get to that next level.”Then, after Wednesday’s 102-93 loss at Houston, Leonard said: “Just because we lose or win a game, or everything goes smooth, every night is a building process for us. Tonight definitely was. It was another game where we see what our guys like to do on the defensive and offensive end. We learn from it and stay moving.” BIG FAVORSIn the victory, the Pelicans enjoyed a career night from Derrick Favors, who grabbed 20 rebounds (and scored 20 points) as New Orleans outrebounded the Clippers 52-37. The Clippers also gave up 20 rebounds to Clint Capela on Wednesday night, when both teams pulled down 53.The Clippers come home leading by a smaller average margin on the boards – 47.8 to 45 – than they did when they left for the two-game trip, proud of their 48.3-43.5 advantage.“We heard a lot of people talking like we’re gonna be outrebounded every night and we took that personally,” center Ivica Zubac said before grabbing nine rebounds in only 22 minutes of action in the two losses. “We just want to show it don’t matter if you got a lot of big guys or not, we just go and get it.” Clippers vs. Mavericks Game 5 playoff updates from NBA beat reporters Newsroom GuidelinesNews TipsContact UsReport an Error Kristaps Porzingis ruled out as Clippers, Mavericks set for Game 5; Follow for game updates HELLO, RODNEYRodney McGruder also made a positive impression in his eighth game with the team, draining a career-best five 3-pointers (in seven attempts) en route to 20 points, two short of tying a career-high for the fourth-year NBA guard, who entered the game having scored only seven points this season.Related Articles Clippers hope they can play to their capabilities, quell Mavericks’ momentum The scoring part of it went pretty well, though. Historically well, in fact.George’s 33 points (in 24 minutes, on 10-of-17 shooting) goes down as the fourth-most points in a Clippers debut, behind only Sam Cassell’s 35 in 2005, Phil Smith’s 35 in 1980 and Dominique Wilkins’ 34 in 1994.Moreover, according to Elias Sports Bureau, no player had finished with 30-plus points in 25 or fewer minutes in his first game with a team. Previously, the fewest minutes for a 30-point game in a team debut was Bobby Portis’ 30 points in 27:28 during his first game with the Wizards last season. What the Clippers are saying the day after Luka Doncic’s game-winner tied series, 2-2 To ease the stress on his sore left knee, Leonard didn’t play in Paul George’s debut on Thursday – a 132-127 loss at New Orleans that dropped the Clippers to 7-5 and 0-3 without Leonard in the lineup – but he’s expected to join George on the court for the first time Saturday. It will be an important chapter in the ongoing education of the new-look Clippers, who continue with five consecutive home games, scheduled every other day starting Saturday against sensational second-year guard Trae Young (27.3 points, 9.1 assists) and the Atlanta Hawks (4-7).“We look forward to having our whole group back,” Clippers guard Lou Williams told reporters after logging a season-high 41 minutes Wednesday, fewer than 24 hours before he started for the third time this season and played nearly 37 minutes against the Pelicans.“We put a lot on Lou,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said in his postgame media address Thursday. “I thought Lou got tired one stretch. … So when you have all three of those guys offensively, you can take a (guy) like a Jrue Holiday (six steals Thursday) out of the game because whoever he’s guarding, you can play with the other two.”SPLASHY DEBUTFollowing his first game on the court as a Clipper, George said he saw lots of room to improve in terms of “just playing basketball.”last_img read more
