first_imgThe bathrooms are modern.Mr Marshall said the family had originally migrated from Sydney and thought Chapel Hill would be a convenient area to live, and their theory proved to be true.“We were aware of the lifestyle advantages of moving there but once we were there, we really thought, ‘Far out, we’ve struck gold here’,” he said.“We can walk everywhere and it’s so nice to be able to jump on the bike tracks nearby and go for a ride.“It’s a really cracking suburb.”The home is 230m from Cubberla Creek Reserve Playground and 1km from Kenmore Plaza Shopping Centre. Timber floors flow throughout the bedroom. The living space opens out to an alfresco dining area at the rear of the house, and looks out to the inground pool, the place where the family spent a lot of time in the warmer months.“We practically lived in the pool,” Mr Marshall said.“It was a contemporary house and it really suited our lifestyle.”Upstairs are the home’s four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a media room. The backyard has a pool and alfresco dining area.Adam Marshall said the living room of the two-level home was where they gathered to spend time together and was its heart.“We’re a bit nerdy,” Mr Marshall said.“We like to have a board game on a Friday night and all get beaten at Monopoly by my son.“The living area downstairs was a place we spent a lot of time because it was large enough for us to all hang out.” REAL ESTATE: 16 Noreen St, Chapel HillCOMMUNITY Chest: Pass Go and move to Noreen St.The Chapel Hill home, at 16 Noreen St, has borne witness to many a Friday night Monopoly loss and triumph at the Marshall family’s weekly board game night.center_img The kitchen at 16 Noreen St is modern.More from newsDigital inspection tool proves a property boon for REA website3 Apr 2020The Camira homestead where kids roamed free28 May 2019The first floor of the home has a study, powder room and separate laundry, as well as an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area.
